SPONGE CAKE
Sponge cake is a versatile and delicious dessert that has been enjoyed for centuries. INGREDIENTS
4 cups of sifted flour
2tb spoon of baking powder
6 eggs 2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of orange juice
1lb blue band butter
A pinch of cinnamon nutmeg an a dash of vanilla essence
METHOD
Cream sugar and butter until fluffy
Add eggs one at a time sift all dry ingredients together an add a little at a time
Mixing in the orange juice also ,then pour in a greese baking pan an bake for an hour at 350°F.
