SENSATIONAL HOMEMADE CORNFUEL CAKE FROM ROÇA
INGREDIENTS
Pasta:
– 2 cups of cornmeal- 2 cups of wheat flour- 2 cups of sugar- 2 cups of milk- 01 can of green corn- 03 eggs (whipped whites)- 50 grams of grated coconut- 2 tablespoons of butter- 1 tablespoon (flat) baking powder- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder- Topping ingredients for sprinkling:- 3 tablespoons of sugar- 2 dessert spoons (flat) of cinnamon powder
METHOD OF PREPARATION
Pasta:
Blend the corn with the milk in a blender. Place in a small pan and heat, without boiling. Add the butter and let it melt. Reserve. In a bowl, add all the sifted dry ingredients, the grated coconut and mix well. Gradually add the reserved creamed corn and add the egg yolks. Set aside and let it grow a little. Beat the egg whites and add. Place in a large round pan, with a hole, greased. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees, for approximately 40 minutes, or until golden.
