Chocolate streusel cake! ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ’

INGREDIENTS

FOR DOUGH AND STREUSEL

150 g soft butter100 g sugar1 egg (size M)3 tbsp baking cocoa250 g flour (type 405)2 tsp baking powder1 pinch of saltSome butter for the mold FOR THE FILLING

1 jar of morello cherries (drained weight 350g)125 g soft butter120 g sugar2 eggs (size M)500 g low-fat quark1 pack of vanilla pudding powderoptional: some powdered sugar for sprinkling

PREPARATION

Step 1

For the dough, put all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into a dough using the dough hook of the mixer for about 5 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (fan oven: 160 degrees). Grease the springform pan (ร˜ 26 cm).ย  Put about 2/3 of the dough into the springform pan and press it into the pan, forming a rim about 3 cm high.

Step 2

For the filling, drain the morello cherries well in a sieve. Then spread the morello cherries on the dough base. Beat the butter and sugar until creamy, then gradually stir in the eggs. Add the quark and vanilla pudding powder and mix everything until there are no more lumps. Pour the filling over the cherries on the dough base.

Step 3

Pluck the remaining dough into small crumbles and spread them on the surface of the cake. Bake the crumble cake in the preheated oven for about 50-55 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool completely, then remove from the pan. If you want, you can sprinkle the cake with a little powdered sugar before serving. The cake makes about 12 pieces.
