Chocolate Cake

1 and 1/2 cups of sugar
1 and 3/4 cups of flour
3/4 cup if cocoa
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
2 eggs
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup of canola oil
2 teaspoons of vanilla
1 cup of boiling water

Preheat oven to 160°c on Bake.
In a bowl sift together the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt and set aside. In another bowl mix together the eggs, milk, oil, vanilla. Once they are mixed together mix in the boiling water. Tip dry ingredients into wet and quickly mix being quick not to over mix. Tip into a well greased large cake tin. Bake for around 30-40 minutes or until skewer comes out clean. Once cooked leave in tin 5 minutes before turning out onto a rack to fully cool.

Chocolate Buttercream

150g room temperature butter
2 cups of icing sugar
1/3 cup of cocoa
2 tablespoons of milk

In a stand mixer beat butter until pale, around 5 minutes. Add icing sugar and sifted cocoa a little at a time. Add milk and mix for another 5 minutes until light and fluffy.

Chocolate Drip

150g of chocolate
1/3 cup of cream

Heat cream until is hot then pour over chocolate, let sit for a minute before mixing until smooth. Pour into squeeze bottle or you can use a spoon. Enjoy
