Orange cake


Egg 4
Sugar 90g
50 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
cake flour 70 g
Orange juice 90ml

How to make an Ogura cake

in a bowl, mix the egg yolks with the juice, oil and salt.
Whisk until smooth.

Sift the flour into the wet ingredients.
Pass the paste through a sieve.
In another bowl, beat the egg whites with the sugar.  Incorporate the first mixture.

Transfer to the baking dish in the larger saucepan with hot water.

Bake at 150ยฐC (300ยฐF) for 30 minutes then another 30 minutes at 130ยฐC (260ยฐF).  Use a large plate to unmold the cake from the cake pan.
