Rich Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake
Ingredients
For the Chocolate Cake
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
1½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup hot coffee (or hot water)
For the Peanut Butter Frosting
1 cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
2½ cups powdered sugar
¼ cup milk (more if needed)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Instructions
1. Prepare the Cake
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until smooth (about 2 minutes).
Slowly stir in hot coffee (the batter will be thin).
Divide batter evenly between pans.
2. Bake
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
3. Make the Peanut Butter Frosting
Beat peanut butter and butter until creamy.
Add powdered sugar gradually while mixing.
Add milk, vanilla, and salt and beat until smooth and fluffy.
4. Assemble the Cake
Place one cake layer on a serving plate.
Spread a thick layer of peanut butter frosting.
Add the second cake layer and frost the top and sides.
