Cheeseburger Stuffed Buns

Ingredients

Dough:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp instant yeast
1 cup warm milk
2 tbsp melted butter or oil

Filling:

250–300 g ground beef
1 small onion (finely chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
1 tsp paprika or burger seasoning
1/2 cup tomato sauce or ketchup
1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
Chopped parsley (optional)

Topping:

1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Dough
In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
Add flour, salt, and melted butter. Mix and knead until soft and smooth (8–10 minutes).
Cover and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.

2️⃣ Prepare the Filling
Heat a pan and cook the ground beef with onion and garlic.
Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Add tomato sauce and cook for 2–3 minutes. Let it cool slightly.

3️⃣ Shape the Buns
Divide the dough into equal balls.
Flatten each ball and place beef filling in the center.
Add shredded cheese on top.
Close and seal the dough, forming a bun.
Place buns on a baking tray.

4️⃣ Bake
Brush buns with beaten egg.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
Sprinkle parsley on top if desired.

Serving Tip
Serve warm with ketchup, mayonnaise, or burger sauce.
