Cheesy Stuffed Bell Peppers
✅ Ingredients (4–6 servings)
6 bell peppers (any colors)
1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
200 g (7 oz) ground beef or chicken (optional)
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika or Italian seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
Fresh parsley or herbs for garnish

✅ Instructions
Prepare the peppers
Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds.
Place them in a baking dish.
Cook the filling
Heat olive oil in a pan.
Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
Add ground meat (optional) and cook until browned.
Stir in tomato sauce, cooked rice, salt, pepper, and spices.
Stuff the peppers
Fill each pepper with the rice mixture.
Sprinkle cheese generously on top.
Bake
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Cover with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes.
Remove foil and bake 5–10 minutes more until cheese is golden.
Serve
Garnish with parsley and serve hot .
Tips
You can make it vegetarian by skipping the meat.
Add corn, mushrooms, or olives for extra flavor.
Use parmesan cheese for a richer taste.
