Striped Chocolate-Dipped Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
For the Vanilla Dough:
150 g butter (softened)
100 g powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
250 g flour
For the Chocolate Dough:
150 g butter (softened)
100 g powdered sugar
1 egg
200 g flour
50 g cocoa powder
For Dipping:
200 g milk chocolate (or dark chocolate)
1 tsp vegetable oil (optional, for shine)

Instructions
1. Prepare the Vanilla Dough:
1. Beat the softened butter and powdered sugar until creamy.
2. Add the egg and vanilla, mix.
3. Add flour gradually and knead until a soft dough forms.
4. Wrap in plastic and chill for 20 minutes.
2. Prepare the Chocolate Dough:
1. Beat butter and powdered sugar again.
2. Add egg, then mix in flour + cocoa powder.
3. Knead into a soft dough.
4. Wrap and chill for 20 minutes.
3. Create the Stripes:
1. Roll each dough into a rectangular block.
2. Cut each dough into long strips of equal thickness.
3. Alternate chocolate and vanilla strips to create the striped pattern.
4. Press gently so they stick together.
5. Wrap and freeze for 20–30 minutes (important for clean cutting).
4. Shape & Bake:
1. Slice the dough block into squares or rectangles.
2. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
3. Bake at 170°C (340°F) for 12–15 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
4. Let cookies cool completely.
5. Dip in Chocolate:
1. Melt chocolate and add optional oil for smoothness.
2. Dip one corner or half of each cookie into the chocolate.
3. Lay on parchment paper until the chocolate sets.
