Chocolate Brigadeiro Cake

Moist Chocolate Brigadeiro Cake

Ingredients

For the Cake

3 large eggs

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

½ cup vegetable oil

1 cup cocoa powder (or chocolate powder)

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1 pinch of salt

1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

For the Brigadeiro Chocolate Glaze

1 can (395 g) sweetened condensed milk

3 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tbsp butter

½ cup heavy cream (or milk)

Chocolate sprinkles for topping

Instructions

1. Make the Cake

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

2. Grease and flour a bundt pan.

3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, oil, and milk until smooth.

4. Add cocoa powder and mix well.

5. Add the flour gradually and mix until combined.

6. Add salt and baking powder; mix gently.

7. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 35–45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

8. Let the cake cool before unmolding.

2. Make the Brigadeiro Glaze

1. In a saucepan, add condensed milk, cocoa powder, and butter.

2. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until it slightly thickens (about 5 minutes).

3. Add the heavy cream and stir until smooth and glossy.

4. Pour the warm glaze over the cake, letting it drip beautifully down the sides.

5. Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles in the center.
