Cheesy Pizza Pockets Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Pepperoni slices (optional)
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions:
1. Prepare the dough
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
Cut it into equal rectangles.
2. Fill the pockets
Add a spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each rectangle.
Add mozzarella cheese on top.
Add pepperoni if you like.
3. Seal the pockets
Fold the dough over to form a square/rectangle.
Press the edges with a fork to seal tightly.
4. Add topping
Brush the tops with egg wash.
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and dried oregano.
5. Bake
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place pockets on a baking tray lined with parchment.
Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
6. Serve
Sprinkle dried basil on top.
Serve hot with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
