Chocolate Drip Oreo Fruit Cake — Recipe in English

Ingredients

For the Cake (2 layers)

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

½ cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

½ cup cocoa powder (optional if you want chocolate sponge)

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

For the Frosting

2 cups heavy whipping cream (cold)

4 tbsp powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla

2–3 tbsp cocoa powder (to get the beige/light chocolate color)

For Chocolate Drip

100g dark chocolate

½ cup heavy cream

For Decoration

Fresh strawberries

Peach slices or mango pieces

Oreo cookies

Chocolate shards (optional)

Instructions

1. Make the Cake

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

2. Grease two 8-inch cake pans.

3. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa (if using), baking powder, and salt.

4. Add eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla.

5. Mix until smooth.

6. Pour the batter into the pans and bake for 25–30 minutes.

7. Let the cakes cool completely.

2. Prepare the Frosting

1. Beat the cold whipping cream until it begins to thicken.

2. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and cocoa powder.

3. Whip until stiff and smooth.

3. Frost the Cake

1. Place the first cake layer on a plate.

2. Spread frosting on top.

3. Add the second layer.

4. Cover the whole cake with frosting using a spatula.

5. Smooth the sides and top (you can use a comb scraper for the lined texture).

4. Make the Chocolate Drip

1. Heat the cream until warm (not boiling).

2. Pour over chopped chocolate.

3. Let it sit 1 minute, then mix until smooth.

4. Cool slightly, then drip around the edges of the cake.

5. Spread some chocolate on top as shown in the photo.

5. Decorate

Add strawberries and peach/mango pieces.

Place Oreo cookies around the sides.

Add chocolate shards on top (optional).
