Oreo Chocolate Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
½ cup (60g) cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup (150g) sugar
2 large eggs
½ cup (120ml) vegetable oil
½ cup (120ml) milk
½ cup (120ml) hot water or coffee
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 crushed Oreo cookies
For the chocolate glaze:
½ cup (100g) dark chocolate
¼ cup (60ml) heavy cream
Oreo cookies for decoration

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and line a loaf pan or small cake tin with parchment paper.
2. Mix dry ingredients:
In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
3. Mix wet ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
4. Combine:
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Add the hot water (or coffee) slowly and mix until smooth. Stir in crushed Oreos.
5. Bake:
Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. Cool:
Let the cake cool completely before adding the glaze.
7. Prepare glaze:
Heat the cream until hot (don’t boil), then pour over the chocolate. Stir until melted and smooth.
