Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Cream and Strawberries

Ingredients:

For the cake:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

½ cup cocoa powder

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

2 eggs

½ cup vegetable oil

½ cup milk

½ cup hot water (or hot coffee for stronger flavor)

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the chocolate cream:

200 g milk chocolate or dark chocolate

1 cup heavy cream

2 tbsp butter

For decoration:

Fresh strawberries

Instructions:

1. Make the cake:

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line a round cake pan.

2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

4. Add hot water slowly and mix until the batter is smooth and slightly thin.

5. Pour into the pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

6. Let the cake cool completely, then cut it into two layers.

2. Make the chocolate cream:

1. In a saucepan, heat the cream until hot (do not boil).

2. Pour over the chopped chocolate and stir until smooth.

3. Add butter and mix until glossy.

4. Let it cool until it thickens enough to pipe.

3. Assemble:

1. Place one layer of cake on a plate.

2. Pipe or spread a thick layer of chocolate cream.

3. Add the second layer and cover the top with more chocolate cream.

4. Decorate with fresh strawberries.
