Cheeseburger Skillet: A hearty skillet with extra melted cheese
Ingredients
– 600g ground beef
– 1 large onion, chopped
– 200g Cheddar cheese, grated or sliced
– 3 tbsp ketchup
– 2 tbsp mustard
– 2 tbsp tomato paste
– 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
– 1 tsp sweet paprika
– Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
– 2 tbsp oil for frying
– 2 gherkins, diced (optional)
– 2 tomatoes, diced (optional)
– 100g crisp lettuce (for serving, optional)

Preparation
– Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and chopped onion and cook until the beef is crumbly and the onions are translucent.
– Add the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika and mix well.
– Stir in ketchup and mustard, then season the meat mixture with salt and pepper.
– Sprinkle the cheddar cheese generously over the ground meat mixture and let it melt briefly.
– Garnish with chopped gherkins, tomatoes, and some lettuce before serving, if desired.
– Enjoy immediately from the pan – best served with fresh baguette or crusty rolls.
