Quark Muffins

Quark muffins are quick to make and so delicious. Our quark muffins are guaranteed to be a success and everyone will love them. Definitely give it a try!

INGREDIENTS

80 g softened butter
120 g sugar
1 pinch of salt
3 medium eggs
150 g low-fat quark
160 g plain flour (type 405)
1 tsp baking powder

PREPARATION

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180ยฐC (350ยฐF) top/bottom heat (120ยฐC fan/convection oven: 160ยฐC). Line a 12-hole muffin tin with paper baking cups or grease well.

Step 2
Place softened butter, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Beat on high speed with the whisk attachment of a hand mixer until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and continue beating on high speed for 1 minute.ย  Add the quark. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir it into the batter.

Step 3
Spread the quark batter evenly among the 12 paper baking cups. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Let cool. Remove the muffins from the tin and sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. The muffins will keep for at least 3 days if stored in an airtight container.
