Tres Leches Coffee Gelatin

A creamy and delicious dessert with the intense flavor of coffee balanced by the smoothness of the three milks blend. Ideal for coffee lovers and refreshing desserts!

Ingredients

✅ For the coffee gelatin:
• 1 1/2 cups hot water
• 1/2 sachet instant coffee
• 4 tablespoons gelatin
• Sugar to taste
• 1 1/2 cups cold water

✅ For the three-milk mixture:
• 1 cup milk
• 2 tablespoons instant coffee
• 1/4 cup water
• 3 tablespoons gelatin
• 1 can evaporated milk
• 1 can condensed milk
• 1 can half and half cream

Step by Step

1️⃣ Prepare the coffee gelatin:
✅ Heat 1 1/2 cups water until boiling.
✅ Add the instant coffee, gelatin, and sugar to taste. Mix well until dissolved.
✅ Add 1 1/2 cups of cold water and stir again.
✅ Pour the mixture into a mold and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours, until set.
✅ Once firm, cut it into small cubes and set aside.

2️⃣ Prepare the three-milk mixture:
✅ Mix 1/2 cup of milk, the instant coffee, and 1/4 cup of water.
✅ Add the gelatin and let it sit for 5 minutes to hydrate.
✅ Melt the gelatin in the microwave (15 seconds) or in a double boiler until dissolved.
✅ In a large bowl, mix the three milks: evaporated milk, condensed milk, and half and half.
✅ Add the milk and coffee mixture and the melted gelatin, stirring well.

3️⃣ Assemble the dessert:
✅ In a mold, place the coffee gelatin cubes evenly.
✅ Slowly pour the three-milk mixture over the cubes.
✅ Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until completely set.

Serving and storage tips:

🔹 To decorate: Sprinkle with cocoa powder or grated chocolate.
🔹 Storage: Refrigerate and consume within 3-4 days to enjoy its best texture.
