Vanilla Butter Cake

Vanilla Butter Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

A bite of softness and sweetness for any special occasion!  Perfect with coffee or tea.

Ingredients

For the cake:

• 12 tbsp butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 3 large eggs
• 2 cups flour
• 1 ½ tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp salt

For the frosting:

• 1 package cream cheese (8 oz)
• 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
• ¼ cup evaporated milk
• 1 ½ tsp  vanilla extract

Magic Steps

1️⃣ Preheat: Oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your pan with butter and sprinkle with flour.

2️⃣ Mix up the magic: Beat butter with sugar until fluffy. Add buttermilk, vanilla, and eggs. Then, mix dry ingredients and combine.

3️⃣ Baking time: Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 50-60 min.  Let cool before unmolding.

4️⃣ Prepare the frosting: Beat the cream cheese, add sugar, evaporated milk, and vanilla. Smooth and delicious!

5️⃣ Decorate: Drizzle the frosting over the cooled cake. Let it set, cut, and… enjoy!
