Grilled Flank Steak Caprese with Balsamic Dressing
Ingredients:
– 1.5 lbs flank steak
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
– 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
– 1 cup fresh basil leaves
– 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
– 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
– 1 tbsp honey
– 1 clove garlic, minced
Directions:
1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2. Rub the flank steak with olive oil, and season generously with salt and pepper.
3. Grill the flank steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
4. While the steak is resting, prepare the Caprese salad. In a bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil leaves.
