Chocolate cake with vanilla pudding
Ingredients
For the dough:
1 cup milk
3/4 cup vegetable oil
350 g sugar
4 eggs
3 tablespoons cocoa or chocolate
3 cups flour
2 and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the filling:
2 packs of vanilla-flavored pudding powder
850 ml milk
For the glaze:
250 g chocolate
250 ml whipped cream
Preparation
1. First, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla extract until frothy and then alternately stir in the flour mixed with baking powder, cocoa and oil.
2. Now place the dough on a greased and floured or lined 22 x 32 cm baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C until golden brown. Now turn out the baked dough and make holes with the handle of a wooden spoon, then let it cool.
3. In the evening, prepare the vanilla pudding as usual. You can also add sugar, depending on how sweet you want the cake to be in the end. Spread the pudding on the cooled cake and smooth it out. Allow the pudding to cool.
4. Now heat the cream over a low heat, but do not boil it. When it is warm, remove it from the heat immediately, add the chocolate broken into pieces and melt it while stirring. Finally, spread the glaze on the cooled pudding. Leave the cake to cool and then serve.
