VANILLA CAKE

2 and 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour2 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt1 cup unsalted butter, softened2 cups of sugar4 eggs2 teaspoons vanilla extract1 and 1/4 cups of milk

Preheat the oven :Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and flour the mold you prefer.Dry mix:Mix the flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Reserve.Wet mix:In another large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and creamy.Add eggs:Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Make sure each egg is well incorporated before adding the next.Add vanilla:Add the vanilla extract and mix well.Add the dry ingredients:Add the dry mixture in three parts, alternating with the milk. Start and end with the dry mixture. Don’t overmix, just enough to combine the ingredients.Cook :Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.Refrigeration:Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.Decoration (optional) :You can top the cake with vanilla frosting, sprinkle it with confectioners’ sugar, or serve it as is.
