1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9Ă5-inch skillet. 2. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon; set aside 3. Beat white sugar and butter until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. 4. Combine flour and baking powder; add to the cream mixture alternately with milk. Stir until smooth. 5. Pour half of the batter into the pan. Layer with half the apples and the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture. Repeat layers. 6. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. 8. Whisk powdered sugar and milk for the glaze; Drizzle on the cold bread
