Cabbage Rolls

Cabbage rolls, a beloved dish in many cultures, combine tender cabbage leaves wrapped around a savory filling, often consisting of ground meat, rice, onions, and spices.


1 teacup of oil
2 onions
300 grams of minced meat
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon of pepper paste
2 cups of rice
2 cups of warm water
1.5 teaspoons of black pepper
1.5 teaspoons of chili pepper
2 teaspoons of mint
2 teaspoons of ground pepper

For the sauce;

4-5 tablespoons of oil (it becomes even more delicious when used with 1 tablespoon of butter)
1 teaspoon tomato paste
2 glasses of water

Preparation of

First of all, we chop our cabbage and boil it.

I cut it as in the photo and boil it whole.
Let’s put the water in the pot and add 1 teaspoon of salt when it boils. 

Let’s put the chopped cabbage in water and boil it for 3-4 minutes, depending on its hardness.  When their colors change, let’s put them in a strainer.

Let’s boil all the cabbages this way.
For the stuffing, let’s add oil and diced onions to the pan and fry until they change color.

Let’s add the minced meat and cook until it releases its water.  Let’s add the rice that we washed with plenty of water and continue roasting.

Let’s add tomato paste and spices.  Let’s fry for 2-3 minutes and add the water.
Let’s close the lid and cook on low heat until the water evaporates.

Then let’s let it cool down a bit.
Let’s put 1 teaspoon of it on the boiled cabbage and wrap it.

I chopped onion under the pot, it’s legendary, you should definitely try it.
Then, let’s arrange the stuffed stuffing on top.

Let’s put the ingredients for the sauce in a deep pan and fry them well.
Let’s add water and spread it over the sprouts we arranged.

Let’s cover the plate and start boiling on high heat, then lower the heat and cook until it softens.
