DANISH BUTTER BISCUITS 😋
Ingredients:
200 g all-purpose flour
100 sugar
125 g of softened butter
a pinch of salt
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation:
- Take the butter and the egg out of the fridge half an hour before making the dough
- We weigh and measure the rest of the ingredients
- Mix the flour with the salt
- Beat the butter until creamy
- Add the sugar and continue beating for a while longer
- Without stopping beating, add the egg yolk
- Finally we add the flour and knead until we have a homogeneous dough
- Store the dough in the fridge for one hour
- We turn on the oven at 175 ºC
- With a roller we stretch the dough 7 mm thick
- Cut the cookies and place them on a baking tray
- We leave them in the fridge for half an hour with the tray
- We bake for 12 minutes
- Remove them and let them cool on a rack
