Layered Taco Salad

Ingredients

1️⃣ Meat Layer
500 g (1 lb) ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning (or 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin, salt & pepper)
2 tbsp water

2️⃣ Guacamole Layer
2 ripe avocados
1 tbsp lime juice
Salt to taste

3️⃣ Sour Cream Layer
1 cup sour cream
2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)

4️⃣ Cheese Layer
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)

5️⃣ Fresh Toppings
1 cup diced tomatoes
½ cup sliced black olives
1 avocado, diced
½ cup chopped cilantro
2 cups shredded lettuce or cabbage

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the beef
In a pan, cook ground beef until browned.
Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer 2–3 minutes. Let cool slightly.

2️⃣ Prepare guacamole
Mash avocados with lime juice and salt.

3️⃣ Assemble layers in a glass bowl
First layer: Guacamole
Second layer: Cooked beef
Third layer: Shredded cheese
Fourth layer: Sour cream
Top layer: Tomatoes, olives, avocado, cilantro, and lettuce

4️⃣ Chill (optional)
Refrigerate 20–30 minutes before serving.
Serving Tips
Serve with tortilla chips, nachos, or tacos.
Perfect for parties and family meals.
