Cheesy Beef Stuffed Biscuits

Ingredients

For the filling:
450 g (1 lb) ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For the biscuits:

(You can use homemade biscuit dough or store-bought biscuit dough)
Homemade biscuit dough (optional):
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
3/4 cup milk

For topping:

1 egg (for egg wash)
Chopped parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Beef Filling
In a pan, cook ground beef over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and garlic; cook until soft.

Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce.
Cook until beef is browned and liquid evaporates.
Turn off the heat and mix in shredded cheddar cheese.
Let the mixture cool slightly.

2. Prepare the Biscuit Dough
If using homemade dough:
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
Add cold butter and combine using fingers until crumbly.
Add milk and mix until dough forms.
Knead lightly and roll out.
If using store-bought dough:
Skip to the next step.

3. Assemble
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
Take a piece of dough and flatten it into a circle.
Add 1–2 tablespoons of beef mixture in the center.
Fold dough over the filling and seal edges well.
Place seam-side down on a baking tray.

4. Bake
Brush the tops with egg wash.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden brown.

Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Serve
Serve warm as a snack, appetizer, or mini meal. They are soft on the outside and cheesy inside!
