Chocolate Cream Dessert

No-Bake Chocolate Cream Dessert

Ingredients

Base Layer
200 g chocolate biscuits (crushed)
80 g melted butter
Cream Layer
1 liter milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup semolina or cornstarch (you can mix half/half)
1 cup shredded coconut
1 tsp vanilla
Chocolate Layer
1 liter milk
½ cup sugar
½ cup cocoa powder
½ cup cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla
100 g dark chocolate (optional, for extra richness)

For topping

Chocolate shavings or chopped chocolate

Instructions

1. Prepare the Base
Crush the chocolate biscuits into fine crumbs.
Mix with melted butter until combined.
Press firmly into the bottom of a rectangular or square dish.
Place in the fridge to set while preparing the cream.

2. Prepare the Cream Layer
In a pot, add milk, sugar, semolina/cornstarch, coconut, and vanilla.
Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until thick and creamy.
Pour the cream mixture over the biscuit base.
Spread evenly and let it cool slightly.

3. Prepare the Chocolate Layer
In a pot, mix milk, sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, and vanilla.
Cook on medium heat, stirring until the mixture becomes thick.
Add the dark chocolate and mix until melted and smooth.
Pour the hot chocolate mixture over the cream layer.

4. Chill
Let the dessert cool to room temperature.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best).

5. Serve
Sprinkle chocolate shavings on top.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
