Ingredients
For the donuts:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm milk
1 egg
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp butter (soft)
1 tbsp instant yeast
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp salt
For frying:
Oil (for deep frying)
For chocolate glaze:
200 g dark or milk chocolate
2 tbsp butter
Optional toppings:
Crushed nuts
Chocolate chips
Sprinkles
Melted chocolate drizzle

Instructions
1. Make the dough
In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, yeast, and vanilla. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
Add egg and soft butter, mix well.
Add flour and salt gradually while kneading until you get a soft dough.
Cover and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
2. Shape the donuts
Roll the dough on a floured surface, about 1–1.5 cm thick.
Cut circles using a donut cutter (or a cup and a small cap for the center).
Cover and let them rise again for 20 minutes.
3. Fry the donuts
Heat oil on medium — not too hot.
Fry each donut until golden on both sides.
Place on paper towels to remove excess oil.
4. Prepare the chocolate glaze
Melt chocolate and butter together (microwave or double boiler).
Stir until smooth and shiny.
5. Decorate
Dip each donut in the chocolate glaze.
Add toppings like nuts, chocolate chips, or drizzle melted chocolate.
Let the chocolate set before serving.
Enjoy your soft, fluffy chocolate donuts!
