Red Velvet Cookie Dough
Ingredients
½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp granulated sugar
2 tbsp milk (or cream)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated*)
¼ tsp salt
Red food coloring (gel or liquid, to desired color)
½ cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
Heat-treat the flour
Microwave flour for 1–2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until it reaches about 75°C / 165°F.
Let it cool completely.
Cream butter & sugars
In a bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add wet ingredients
Mix in milk and vanilla extract.
Add dry ingredients
Stir in cocoa powder, salt, and cooled flour until fully combined.
Color it red
Add red food coloring little by little until you get a deep red velvet color.
Fold in chips
Gently mix in white chocolate chips.
Chill (optional)
Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes if you want firmer dough.
Tips
For extra richness, add 1–2 tbsp cream cheese.
Use gel food coloring for a stronger color with less liquid.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
