Marble Cake with Chocolate Glaze
Ingredients
For the Cake Batter:
1 cup (200g) sugar
1 cup (240ml) milk
3 large eggs
1 cup (200ml) oil
2½ cups (310g) all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp cocoa powder
For the Chocolate Glaze:
100g dark chocolate
2 tbsp butter

Instructions
1. Prepare the Batter
1. In a bowl, whisk sugar, eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla.
2. Add flour and baking powder. Mix until smooth.
3. Divide the batter into 2 equal parts.
4. Add the cocoa powder to one part and mix well.
2. Create the Marble Effect
1. Grease a loaf pan.
2. Pour a spoonful of vanilla batter, then a spoonful of chocolate batter.
3. Repeat until all batter is used.
4. Use a skewer to gently swirl for a marble pattern (optional).
3. Bake
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F)
Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool completely.
4. Prepare the Chocolate Glaze
1. Melt chocolate with butter in a microwave or over a double boiler.
2. Pour over the cooled cake.
