Soft & Chewy M&M Cookies

Soft & Chewy M&M Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup (200g) brown sugar

½ cup (100g) white sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 ½ cups (310g) all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 ½ cups M&M’s (plus extra for topping)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.

3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.

4. In another bowl, whisk together:

flour

baking soda

baking powder

salt

5. Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.

6. Fold in 1 cup of M&M’s (keep the rest for topping).

7. Scoop dough balls (about 2 tbsp each) onto the baking tray.
Press a few extra M&M’s on top to make them colorful like the picture.

8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set and centers are still soft.
They will look slightly underbaked — this makes them chewy.

9. Let them cool on the tray for 10 minutes, then move to a wire rack.

Tips for Perfect Cookies

Chill the dough for 30 minutes if you want thicker cookies.

Don’t overbake — they continue to cook after leaving the oven.

Add chocolate chips for extra flavor.
