Fluffy Chocolate Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour

2 tbsp cocoa powder

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

Pinch of salt

¾ cup (180ml) milk

1 egg

2 tbsp melted butter (plus more for cooking)

½ tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate syrup (for topping)

Butter (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Mix dry ingredients:
In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

2. Mix wet ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

3. Combine:
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix gently until just combined (don’t overmix; a few lumps are fine).

4. Cook:
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter.
Pour about ¼ cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until fluffy and cooked through.

5. Serve:
Stack the pancakes, top with a pat of butter, and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
