Cheesy Garlic Chicken

Ingredients:

2 large chicken breasts (cut in half lengthwise to make 4 thin pieces)

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

4 cloves garlic (minced)

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup chicken broth

1 tsp Italian seasoning (or mix of oregano, basil, thyme)

½ tsp paprika (optional)

Salt and pepper (to taste)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the chicken:
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.

2. Cook the chicken:
Heat olive oil (or butter) in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
Remove from the skillet and set aside.

3. Make the garlic sauce:
In the same skillet, add a bit more butter if needed and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds (until fragrant).
Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.

4. Add cheese and seasoning:
Add Italian seasoning, Parmesan, and mozzarella cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.

5. Combine:
Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the cheesy garlic sauce over it.
Simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens and the chicken absorbs the flavor.

6. Garnish and serve:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and extra cheese if you like.

Serving ideas:

Serve over pasta, mashed potatoes, or rice.

Add steamed broccoli or green beans on the side for balance.
