Brigadeiro Cake with Creamy Frosting
Dough Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup warm milk
1/2 cup oil
1 cup cocoa powder (or 50% cocoa)
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
Frosting Ingredients:
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon butter
1 box heavy cream (200g)
Chocolate sprinkles to taste for topping

Instructions:
1. Prepare the batter:
In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add the warm milk and oil, mixing well. Add the cocoa powder and stir until completely dissolved. Gradually incorporate the sifted flour. Finish with the baking powder, stirring gently.
2. Bake:
Pour the batter into a greased and floured round pan (or with parchment paper on the bottom). Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool before unmolding.
3. Make the creamy brigadeiro frosting:
In a saucepan, combine the condensed milk, cocoa powder, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it begins to pull away from the bottom of the pan (soft brigadeiro consistency). Turn off the heat and stir in the heavy cream until smooth.
4. Assemble the cake:
Unmolde the cake, top with the still-warm creamy brigadeiro frosting, and spread evenly. Finish with sprinkles. If desired, decorate with chocolate shavings or sprinkles.
