Creamy Orange Ice Cream – Simple and Refreshing

Ingredients

– 1 tablespoon honey
– 150 ml milk (whole milk adds extra creaminess)
– 600 ml fresh orange juice
– 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
– 1 pinch salt
– 100 g plain yogurt
– 2 teaspoons lemon juice
– 30 g icing sugar
– 100 ml fresh cream
– 1 teaspoon grated orange peel (untreated)
– 60 g fresh cream

Preparation

– Mix the honey, vanilla sugar, salt, icing sugar, lemon juice, milk and orange juice in a large bowl.

– Add the yogurt, fresh cream and grated orange peel and mix well.

– Whip the cream until stiff peaks form and carefully fold it into the mixture to create a wonderfully light and airy consistency.

– Pour the mixture into a shallow dish.

– Freeze for at least 4 hours, stirring vigorously every 30 minutes to keep the ice cream nice and creamy.

– Divide the orange sorbet into portions, serve and enjoy!
