Fresh Fruit and Whipped Cream

Waffle Cones Filled with Fresh Fruit and Whipped Cream

Ingredients:

6 waffle cones

1 cup strawberries, hulled and chopped

1/2 cup blueberries

1/2 cup blackberries

1/2 cup kiwi, peeled and diced

1/2 cup pineapple, cut into small chunks

1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)

Optional: mint leaves, chocolate drizzle, or a sprinkle of powdered sugar

Directions:

Wash and dry all fruit thoroughly. Dice larger fruits like strawberries, kiwi, and pineapple into small bite-sized pieces.

In a mixing bowl, gently combine all fruit to create a colorful fruit medley.

Fill each waffle cone about 3/4 full with the fruit mixture.

Top generously with whipped cream.

Garnish with a mint leaf, a dusting of powdered sugar, or a light drizzle of melted chocolate if desired.

Serve immediately for best texture, as the cones may soften over time.
