Caramelized Peach Dessert
Ingredients:
For the Caramel:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup warm water
1 can of peaches in syrup (halves)
For the Dough:
4 eggs
250 g sugar
300 ml vegetable oil
1 cup peach syrup
350 g wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup diced peaches

Process:
In a saucepan, pour the cup of sugar and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar melts and becomes golden and transparent.
Carefully add the 1/2 cup warm water and continue mixing until the caramel is well combined.
Pour the caramel into the bottom of a 25 x 15 cm (9.8 x 6.1 in) pan and spread evenly. Place the peach halves in syrup on top of the caramel and set aside.
In a large bowl, place the 4 eggs and 250 g (8.5 oz) of sugar. Beat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth.
Add the oil, peach syrup, flour, and salt. Mix gently until the ingredients are well combined.
Add the baking powder and the diced peaches. Mix again, ensuring the batter is smooth.
Pour the mixture over the peaches in the pan, ensuring the batter covers all the fruit.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let it cool slightly before removing from the mold and flipping the dessert over so the caramel and peaches are on top.
That’s it! Enjoy this sweet and smooth caramelized peach dessert.
