Fudge Chocolate Pudding Cake

I was feeling a sweet craving today, so I decided to make a Hot Fudge Chocolate Pudding Cake!  It was a delightful experience as I prepared this warm and gooey dessert.

Ingredients:

– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 3/4 cup sugar
– 6 tbsp cocoa powder
– 2 tsp baking powder
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1/2 cup milk
– 2 tbsp melted butter
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 3/4 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 cup cocoa powder for topping
– 1 3/4 cups hot water

Preparation Steps:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, 6 tbsp cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth. Spread this batter in the prepared dish.

3. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar and the remaining 1/4 cup cocoa. Sprinkle this mixture over the batter.

4. Pour hot water over the top—do not stir.

5. Bake for about 35-40 minutes. The cake will rise to the top, and the sauce will sink to the bottom. Test with a toothpick for doneness.

6. Serve warm. Spoon cake and sauce into a bowl, and top with ice cream or whipped cream. Enjoy!
