Chocolate Swiss Roll
Ingredients
✅ For the sponge cake:
• 6 eggs
• 150 g sugar
• 120 g flour
• 30 g cocoa powder
✅ For the filling:
• 200 ml whipping cream
• 100 g icing sugar
✅ For decoration (optional):
• Cocoa powder
• Grated chocolate
• Fresh fruit

Preparation
1️⃣ Prepare the sponge cake
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture triples in volume and is fluffy.
3. Sift the flour together with the cocoa powder and fold it in little by little.
4. Pour the batter onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread it evenly.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cake is baked but pliable.
2. Shape the Swiss Roll
6. Remove the cake from the oven and, while still warm, roll it up with a damp cloth to shape it without breaking it. Let it cool.
3. Fill and Decorate
7. Whip the cream with the icing sugar until you get a firm cream.
8. Carefully unroll the cake and spread the whipped cream evenly over the surface.
9. Gently roll it up again, leaving the seam facing down.
10. Sprinkle with cocoa powder or decorate with grated chocolate for a delicious finishing touch.
