Easy Crispy Fries

Super Easy Crispy Fries 🥔🍟

Ingredients

2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into strips
1 teaspoon of salt for the water
Oil for frying
Salt to taste for serving

Instructions

Place the potato strips in a bowl of cold water and let them sit for 10 minutes. This will help them crisp up.

Heat one liter of water with 1 teaspoon of salt until boiling. Submerge the potatoes in the boiling water for just 20 seconds, then remove them.

Place the potatoes on a clean cloth and dry them well to remove excess moisture. This will prevent splashing in the hot oil.

Heat the oil in a deep fryer or deep fryer.  When the oil is very hot, fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, turning them to cook evenly.

Remove the potatoes from the oil, place them on paper towels to remove excess fat, and season with salt to taste. Enjoy your crispy potatoes!
