Ingredients
For the Vanilla Ice Cream Base:
2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup granulated sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
For the Raspberry Ripple:
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries (thawed if frozen)
2 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjust based on berry sweetness)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
Optional Garnish:
Fresh raspberries
Chocolate shavings
Crushed cookies

Instructions
Make the Vanilla Ice Cream Base:
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
Once chilled, churn the mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 2–3 hours to firm up.
Prepare the Raspberry Ripple:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the berries break down and release their juices (about 5–7 minutes).
Stir in the cornstarch slurry and continue cooking for another 1–2 minutes, or until the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
Assemble the Ice Cream:
Once the ice cream has firmed up, remove it from the freezer. Use a spoon or knife to create swirls of the cooled raspberry ripple throughout the ice cream. Be sure to spread the ripple evenly for beautiful marbling.
Return the ice cream to the freezer and freeze for another 2–3 hours, or until firm.
Serve:
Scoop the Romantic Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream into bowls or cones and garnish with fresh raspberries, chocolate shavings, or crushed cookies if desired. Serve immediately for th
