Homemade Apple Cinnamon Swirl Loaf
Ingredients

2. 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3. 1 teaspoon baking powder
4. 1 teaspoon baking soda
5. 1 teaspoon salt
6. 1 cup granulated sugar
7. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
8. 2 large eggs
9. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
10. 1 cup milk
11. Apple Filling
12. 2-3 apples, peeled and diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
13. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
14. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
15. Cinnamon Swirl
16. 1/4 cup granulated sugar
17. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
18. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
19. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
20. Optional Toppings
21. Chopped walnuts or pecans
22. Caramel drizzle
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
2. Prepare Apple Filling: Mix diced apples, granulated sugar and cinnamon.
3. Make Loaf Batter: Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, mix sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla extract and milk. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
4. Create Cinnamon Swirl: Mix granulated sugar, flour and cinnamon.
5. Assemble Loaf: Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Top with apple filling, then cinnamon swirl mixture. Pour remaining batter over the swirl.
6. Bake: Bake 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
7. Cool: Let cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
