Double Chocolate Banana Bread recipe:

Ingredients

1. Dry Ingredients
  1. 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  3. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  4. 1 cup granulated sugar
2. Wet Ingredients
  1. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  2. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  3. 2 large eggs
  4. 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  5. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3. Chocolatey Additions
  1. 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  2. 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chunks

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2. Whisk dry ingredients.

3. In a separate bowl, combine cocoa powder and sugar.

4. Add softened butter; mix until well combined.

5. Beat in eggs, mashed bananas and vanilla extract.

6. Gradually add dry ingredients; mix until just combined.

7. Stir in chocolate chips and chopped dark chocolate.

8. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.

9. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

10. Cool for 10 minutes; transfer to a wire rack.
