Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake 🎂🍫
Ingredients:
For the base:
– 1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
For the dark chocolate mousse:
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 200g dark chocolate, chopped
– 2 tablespoons sugar
For the milk chocolate mousse:
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 200g milk chocolate, chopped
– 2 tablespoons sugar
For the white chocolate mousse:
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 200g white chocolate, chopped
– 2 tablespoons sugar
For garnish:
– Chocolate shavings
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, mix the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to create the base. Chill in the refrigerator.
2. For the dark chocolate mousse: Heat the heavy cream until hot (not boiling), then pour over the chopped dark chocolate. Stir until smooth. Let it cool slightly, then fold in the sugar. Pour over the chilled base and refrigerate.
3. Repeat the process for the milk chocolate mousse and layer it over the dark chocolate mousse. Chill again.
4. Repeat the process for the white chocolate mousse and layer it on top of the milk chocolate mousse. Chill the entire cake for at least 4 hours or overnight.
5. Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings.
