No-Churn Peppermint Chip Ice Cream recipe:
Ingredients
1. Base:
– 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
– 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2. Peppermint Flavor:
– 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
– 1/4 cup crushed candy canes or peppermint candies
3. Optional Mix-ins:
– Chocolate chips or chocolate shavings
– Chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans)
Instructions
1. Whip Cream: Beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
2. Combine Base Ingredients: Mix sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract and peppermint extract.
3. Fold: Gently fold whipped cream into sweetened condensed milk mixture until combined.
4. Add Mix-ins: Fold in crushed candy canes, chocolate chips and nuts (if using).
5. Freeze: Pour mixture into a 9×5-inch loaf pan or airtight container. Cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Freeze 6-8 hours or overnight.
