Three Chocolate Milk Cake
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
8 whole eggs
1 cup of sugar (200 g)
1 2/3 cups of all-purpose flour (200 g)
50 g cocoa powder
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
60 g melted butter
For the Syrup:
1 can of condensed milk
1 can of evaporated milk
1 can of natural cream (such as heavy cream or whipping cream)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Cake
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a round cake pan (or a rectangular pan) to prevent sticking.
Mix the Batter:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the whole eggs and sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture, being careful not to deflate the batter.
Gently fold in the melted butter until well combined.
Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 2: Prepare the Syrup
Mix the Syrup:
In a bowl, combine the condensed milk, evaporated milk, and natural cream. Mix well until smooth and fully blended.
Step 3: Assemble the Cake
Soak the Cake:
Once the cake has cooled, use a fork or skewer to poke holes all over the top of the cake. This will help the syrup soak in.
Pour the milk syrup evenly over the cake, allowing it to soak in for at least 30 minutes. For best results, refrigerate the cake for a few hours or overnight to fully absorb the syrup.
Step 4: Serve
Slice and Enjoy:
Once the cake has soaked in the syrup, slice and serve. You can garnish with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or fresh fruit if desired.
Tips:
This cake is incredibly moist and can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.
For added chocolate flavor, consider drizzling some chocolate ganache over the top before serving.
